Does the later Santa Fe have a flywheel problem?

Does the 2010 model Hyundai Santa Fe suffer from the same disastrous dual-mass flywheel problems as the 2006 onward model? Had to replace it every two years and in no mood to go through that again.

What's wrong with my BMW 5 Series Touring?

My 2009 BMW 5 Series 2009 estate (68,000 miles) gives a little shunt when stopping at lights or slowing down in traffic. Also when taking off, though not all the time. What could it be?

Why is my Almera running so badly?

I have a 2004 Nissan Almera 1.5 hatchback. The car is losing power; it seems ok in fourth and fifth gears, but in first, second and third it's a joke, it just crawls along. What could be the problem? When put up on the diagnostic machine, nothing shows up.

What will cure my Honda CR-V?

Although my 2001 Honda CR-V seems to drive very well and it starts easily from both hot and cold, the engine management light (EML) comes on; and from cold the rev counter does not operate. When the rev counter isn't working the engine is a little lumpy. After five minutes if I turn the car off and re-start, the rev counter works and the car drives perfectly.

This is an intermittent problem, sometimes the EML light isn't on, and sometimes it is. This problem has only occurred since the car has been parked up un-used for a couple of months. It doesn't appear to affect daily use once the car has been running for five minutes. The car does not over-heat. Any ideas what could be wrong? And will it be expensive?

What's wrong with my Ford Focus Estate?

I have a 2006 Ford Focus 1.8 TDCi Estate. When the car goes it struggles up to 2000rpm and it seems as if the turbo is not kicking in. The car does not smoke; it just seems as if it has no turbo. Then when I leave it overnight it will turn over but won't start. I'm wondering whether to spend a lot on the car or part exchange it as it has done 143,000 miles.

What would cause a Suzuki Grand Vitara diesel to be slow to start?

What would cause a Suzuki Grand Vitara diesel to be slow to start? All four heater plugs are good, and it starts quicker if you pump the accelerator when starting.

How do I cure my BMW's overheating?

Hi, I have a BMW 320 Convertible, which had a reconditioned engine with new radiator about eight months ago, but it now keeps losing water! Sometimes I fill it and it will be fine for weeks; other times it empties in days. Now the temperature gauge is shooting straight into the red even when filled up with water.

What do I do?
