What's wrong with my Opel Vectra?

My Opel Vectra is very sluggish when in first and second gear; could it be timing belt? No engine fault light shows up.

Are there forums to discuss a Volkswagen Golf issue?

Where will I find a forum in Ireland to ask Volkswagen Golf owners about problems they may have experienced? I have an auto hold problem that the garage cannot sort. Kind of my word against theirs problem that shows up only about 10 per cent of the time. Never there when you drive into the dealership... cracking up from it and cannot let anyone else drive the car.

Is my Nissan Micra's head gasket gone?

I have a 2003 Nissan Micra 1.2 and I am forever putting coolant in it. The person I bought it off said it was the radiator and replaced it but, I have since taken it to another person for them to tell me it's the head gasket and will cost me the price of a new engine if that is the case. I have no water oil mixing just the temp light coming on so I add coolant.

Any help appreciated

My Ford Focus has to be full of diesel to start!

I have a 2009 Ford Focus. If I don't keep it full with diesel it won't start. Could it be the pump in the tank or one of the injectors?

My Opel Astra's keys seem to be acting up.

Hi guys, I have a 2005 Opel Astra. The central locking is acting up. I have replaced the keys in the fob and checked the fuses. All appears ok in that regard. It works intermittently. Might lock and unlock once or twice and then just stop working again. However, when inside the car and you have the button to engage the central locking for safety reasons, this method does manage to engage all the locks and works fine.

Furthermore using the pedal/accelerator test generated a 1614 code, which relates to the keys and I am assuming a mismatch between the codes the car is looking for and what the keys are transmitting. Is it a simple case of the fobs requiring reprogramming (I have tried the key in the ignition the "lights on" but not engine start, in order to synchronise them again, but nothing) or something that might require further investigation.

Many thanks for your feedback if you get a chance.

Thanks
