What's wrong with my nearly new Golf TDI?

Hi,

I have a Volkswagen Golf Mk7 TDI diesel, just 10 weeks old, 6,600km on the clock. Engine management light flashing and loses ability to accelerate. Light goes off and acceleration restored once ignition turned off and on again. Gets a 90km spin almost daily. Second time it's happened in past four weeks.

Any ideas what could be wrong?

I have a few issues with my Mondeo.

I've been advised my car has a belt and chain system but Ford says only belt; can you confirm? It's a 2012 Mondeo 1.6 TDCi.

Also had issues with engine rattle after a dealer changed injectors. He says they need time to relearn. I have symptoms two weeks later still. Just wondering is this accurate because the dealer didn't mention chain or fuel pump. How long should the ECU take to relearn injectors?

Also, the steering wheel is shaking under braking. Should a dealer replace worn discs six weeks after purchase?

Has the Volkswagen 'twincharger' engine issues?

Hi,

Just read that the Volkswagen 1.4 turbo- and supercharged engines are giving problems. One UK Scirocco motorist says his Volkswagen dealer is replacing his engine. My Audi A3 is a 1.4 TSI. I think the new Audi A3 Saloon has the same engine. Have you any reports on the above ?
