What will the new VW ID.4 be called in Ireland?
Hi,
Any idea when the new/updated VW ID.4 is coming to Ireland? Also, will it be called the ID. Tiguan like the new ID. Cross naming convention? Where does that leave the Tiguan?

Hi Shane,
We will be seeing the new car for the first time at the end of August, to be revealed in public in September, I believe. That likely means early to mid-2027 for its launch Ireland, but that has not been officially confirmed.
Likewise, nothing official has been said about its name. It could simply be the ID.4 Neo as Volkswagen has done with the ID.3 Neo, though there certainly are rumours that it could be called the ID. Tiguan.
If it is, we'd still expect the regular Tiguan to continue alongside it.
