Hi Theresa,

We're not sure what style of vehicle you'd prefer, but here are a few good options we'd stand behind:

Hyundai Kona Hybrid: only just within budget, but spacious, comfortable and packed with tech.

Renault Symbioz: same story on price and stick to the smaller wheels for comfort. The related Captur is more affordable, but not as big.

Dacia Bigster: you get a lot of car for your money from Dacia.

Peugeot 308: all of the above are SUVs or crossovers, so this is a sensible car-shaped alternative. The 308 is one of our favourite hatchbacks.
