Is my BMW 420d's timing belt due?

Hello experts,

Does the timing belt need to be replaced on my 152 BMW 420d Convertible? It has 38,000km on the clock.

Hi Colm,

That car's engine has a timing chain, not a belt. The chain is designed for the life of the engine.
