What's that whining sound from my car?

Hi there,

When I turn the steering left when driving I can hear a whining sound. It stops when going straight. What do you think it could be?

Hi Sean,

It's always difficult to assess such problems remotely. It could be an issue with the power steering, a wheel bearing or something rubbing in the wheelarch.

On this occasion we'd have to advise you to bring the car to a mechanic to look at.
