What's up with my Volvo V50 and starting?
My 2009 Volvo V50 1.6-litre starts sometimes, sometimes not. The starter motor turns over well. However, the Volvo workshop could not find the fault as it started when they received the car (after towing) to them. What is the guess that the fault consists of?

Hi Bo,
There are loads of possible things this could be, such as crankshaft position sensor, leaking injectors and even an issue with the immobiliser and key. First thing we'd check though is the fuel filter housing, as these are known to develop cracks in the V50, allowing air into the fuel system.
