Why no spare wheel in the Toyota RAV4 in Ireland?

In your video review of the 2026 plug-in-hybrid Toyota RAV4 GR Sport Neil clearly mentions the space saver spare wheel. I was in a dealership yesterday looking at the new RAV4 and I was told that there won't be a spare wheel in the new model. Why is that? The spare wheel seems to be in every RAV4 in every other country.

We put your question to Toyota Ireland, but have yet to receive a response. Hence we can only assume that it's a cost-cutting exercise by the distributor.
