Who makes the Chevrolet Cruze engine?

The diesel engine in the Chevrolet Cruze 1.7: is it built by VM Motori or Isuzu? It is 1,686cc.

Hi John,

It’s the Isuzu engine, and most of them were actually built in GM’s powertrain plant in Tychy, in Poland.
