Volkswagen 172 registration offers

Technology packages, 0% APR PCP and up to €2,000 deposit contributions on new Volkswagens.

What's the news?

Volkswagen Ireland is bundling together a load of technology upgrades to entice buyers to take part in its 172-plate campaign, which it is calling 'Make The Future Your Present'.

Along with 0 per cent APR PCP finance deals, deposit contributions of up to €2,000 and free Volkswagen Connect (app-supporting software), examples of the tech bundles include Discover Media Satnav, Light Assist, Rear-View Camera and a Winter Pack on the new Golf Highline. Individually, these things are worth €1,711 but 172 customers can spec this package up for just €599.

Even better, on the Tiguan Comfortline, a Panoramic Sunroof, the Mirror Package, Discover Media Satnav and Rear-View Camera are all offered for €999, instead of the €3,073 such items would normally cost.

On the upgraded Passat range, Easy Open Package, High Beam Light Assist, Side Assist and Rear Traffic Alert (worth €2,143) are offered for €499, while for the Polo Trendline, additions include 15-inch Estrada alloys, a leather multifunction steering wheel, front fog lights and App Connect (worth €1,832) for €299.

Similar Technology Upgrade offers are available on the up!, Golf SV, Jetta, Beetle, Scirocco, Touran, Sharan and Touareg, with up to €6,029 of savings available.

And in terms of the PCP and deposit contributions, there are some great deals. The Golf Highline can be had with 0 per cent APR PCP, equating to monthly payments of €249. The Tiguan and Polo both come with the €1,000 deposit contribution, the SUV also benefitting from 0 per cent PCP before June 30, resulting in a payment of €299 per month for the 115hp TDI model. The Passat also gets the 0 per cent PCP deal, with customers able to drive away a version from as little as €289 per month.

On the other models listed above, up to €2,000 deposit contribution and further 0 per cent PCP deals are offered.

Anything else?

Order before June 30th and Volkswagen Connect is fitted free of charge. It connects the car to your smartphone, allowing an owner to access vehicle diagnostics, monthly fuel costs, the vehicle's GPS location plus much more, all from your handheld device.
