Opel's stand at the upcoming Munich motor show (technically the IAA Mobility show, but Munich motor show to its friends) will feature three new cars.
OK, what new models are they?

Two of them, we already know about. The big star of Opel's stand is going to be the Corsa GSE concept, which hides the look of the next-generation Corsa hatchback under a rally-car style bodykit that's been designed to be playable on the Gran Turismo video game. It has an 800hp twin electric motor setup, and you can find more details on that in our full news piece on the car by clicking here.
That's one, what's the other one we know about?

The second new Opel that we already knew of is one that you'll actually be able to buy in fairly short order — the new Mokka GSE. Opel is setting up the GSE sub-brand to be the company's electric high-performance arm, and so the Mokka GSE gets tweaked suspension and steering, a trick front differential, and a 280hp electric motor. You can find more details of that car in our full news story HERE. There's already a rallying version of the Mokka GSE, and it's competing in the ADAC Opel Electric Rally Cup, so Opel will be showing off the competition version too.
That's two. What's the third car?

The third Opel model to take a Munich show bow will be the all-wheel drive electric version of the Grandland SUV. This uses two electric motors, developing a combined 325hp, with a range of up to 489km for the 'Ultimate' model. Opel reckons that other versions of the Grandland Electric AWD will push that range over the 500km mark. The Grandland Electric AWD gets some trick 'Frequency Selective Dampers' for its suspension, which should make it a bit more sporty to drive.
"We are bringing the motto of this year's IAA Mobility 'It's all about mobility' to life," said Opel CEO Florian Huettl. "Visitors will be amazed at how we have created a unique concept car with the Corsa GSE Vision Gran Turismo, which can be experienced both digitally and in real life. And with the new Mokka GSE and the new Grandland Electric AWD, we are bringing pure electromotive passion into series production for our customers. Visit us at the IAA Mobility and experience the fascination of our battery-electric vehicles and concept car live.”
