The gorgeous JAS Tensei is a modern reinterpretation of the original mid-engined Honda NSX with design by Pininfarina, engineering by JAS Motorsport and a howling V6 engine by JUDD Power. It gets a carbon-fibre body and will be limited to just 35 units. Today isn’t the first time we’ve seen it, but that doesn’t make the revealing of a blue example any less exciting. We brought you news of the new BMW iX4 electric coupe-SUV last night and those of you that read it all the way through may have noticed us mention that the iX4 M60 xDrive’s feisty powertrain would also be available in the iX3. Well, here it is. By way of reminder, this is an M Performance Vehicle, so not quite the full-beans M car, but it has been developed by the M division. Key figures: 612hp, 875Nm of torque, 0-100km/h in 3.9 seconds and a range of 754km. Oh and it has yellow lights.

Renault is adding a panoramic glass roof option to the Twingo, with the new ‘Twingobay’ option set to appear at the 2026 Paris Motor Show next week. The fixed roof has no blind, but Renault says its multilayer construction filters 99.9 per cent of UV radiation and limits heat entering the cabin. Renault is also introducing Google Gemini as an optional over-the-air replacement for Google Assistant on cars using its OpenR Link infotainment system.
