Electric Ireland names Ohme as new home EV charging partner
Published
Cork-based Ohme has been appointed as a new home EV-charging partner for Electric Ireland. The deal will see Electric Ireland offer Ohme home chargers to customers switching to electric cars, pairing the company’s smart charging technology with Electric Ireland’s Home Electric+ Night Boost tariff. This offers reduced electricity rates from 11pm to 8am and a lower rate from 2am to 4am. Ohme’s software can automatically schedule charging for the cheapest periods according to a customer’s tariff.
