2 - Ford Mustang Convertible

It's sill OK to like American things, right? The Mustang is big, bold, brash and a touch crude, but lots of good, wholesome fun. The 2.3 EcoBoost model is surprisingly practical, but the big, thirsty 5.0 V8 is the one everyone wants.

3 - Jaguar F-Type Roadster

We had to wait 35 years to get it, but Jaguar finally made a worthy E-Type successor. The F-Type is gorgeous, ballistic, bombastic and fantastic. Too-plain cabin made up for by the terrific engines.

Take a Mazda MX-5, give it a gorgeous, retro-sixties body and a feisty turbocharged Italian heart and you get the Fiat 124 Spider. As welcome a throwback as there's ever been, it's fun and fabulous, albeit more expensive than the Mazda.
