What's the news?
Is it New Year already? No? Well it must be getting close as the 191 offers are starting to flood in, and SEAT has joined the January bandwagon with an announcement of its special offers for the next registration period.
Both of the brand's big-selling SUVs, the Arona and the Ateca, will be available on finance packages with a low 1.9 per cent interest rate, and the same goes for the Leon and Ibiza hatchbacks.
On top of that, SEAT is offering some significant trade-in boosters (called scrappage but not necessarily actually scrappage) which include as much as €5,000 if you're buying a Leon, €3,000 on an Ateca, €2,000 on an Ibiza, and €1,000 on an Arona.
There's also a three-year service plan available, which costs €299, and some good value on upgrade packs. The Ateca can be had with an SE product pack, which costs €500, and which SEAT says saves up to €531 on the price of the individual options. That goes even better for a Leon SE, where the €500 pack saves you a claimed €1,825, and there's a €300 SE pack for the Ibiza, which saves you €395.
Niall Phillips, Brand Director at SEAT Ireland commented: "We have enjoyed a hugely successful 2018 to date with a record high market share of 3%. This is a really exciting time for the brand in Ireland and our 191 campaign offers Irish motorists exceptional value across our range. With our most innovative and impressive product range now in dealerships nationwide, and a host of competitive offers available to customers, there has literally never been a better time to purchase a Seat model."
SEAT's done well this year, posting an 12 per cent climb in sales, against a market that's down overall around four per cent. Will these new offers help propel it to further success in 2019?
