From what we can see, the rear of the Arteon 'fastback' doesn't look dramatically dissimilar in design to its predecessor, but the front is all-new, and also quite different to the rest of the current Volkswagen range. Style-wise, the lights and grille are integrated into one large centrepiece that dominates the face of the car, sure to give it a highly distinctive look. It's expected that this will be adopted as the new 'face' of Volkswagen design.
Aside from that, Volkswagen makes a lot of noise in the release about interior space, in front and rear, which leads us to suspect that the Arteon will be a lot larger than the CC it replaces.
Anything else?
Full details of the new Arteon will be revealed on the eve of the Geneva Motor Show, on March 6th.
