According to Kia the exterior and interior have greater potential for customer personalisation. The new car retains 'its characteristically compact dimensions', implying that it won't be much larger than the current model. If the design sketches are accurate the new model looks more stylish than its predecessor and a 'vibrant colour palette' should appeal to customers who want to stand out.
Inside there's a new cabin design that promises efficient packaging plus a range of comfort and safety features. The images show a prominent touch screen high on the dashboard although it is unclear whether this will be standard across the range.
Kia will reveal full details of the new Picanto in early 2017.
