Go on then… How much is the Cupra Raval in Ireland?

The entry-level Raval will have a starting price of €23,495, inclusive of the SEAI grant of €3,500 and the VRT rebate that more affordable electric cars enjoy. That will get you a range of up to 318km, thanks to the standard 37kWh battery.

There's a bigger battery too, right?

Yes, there's also a 52kWh battery that gives you a range of up to 450km, but Cupra Ireland won't be announcing full range and specification details until closer to the Raval's on-sale date. We do know that the range-topping 226hp VZ version will be priced at around €36,000, so that gives us a rough ballpark for the rest of the lineup.

What's standard equipment like on the Cupra Raval?

Decent. That €23,495 model will come with a 12.9-inch touchscreen with Google Android software, 10.25-inch digital driver's instrument screen, wireless Android Auto/Apple CarPlay, keyless start, rear parking sensors, climate control, LED headlights, 3D Rear 'Edge to Edge' light with Illuminated Cupra logo, light and rain sensor, high-beam control, flush door handles, 17-inch alloy wheels, rear traffic alert, and side and exit assist functions.

Marcelino Villalobos, Brand Director at Cupra Ireland, said: "The Raval opens an exciting new chapter for CUPRA. At an entry price of €23,495, it delivers striking design, genuine driving enjoyment and everyday usability at a price that makes electric mobility more accessible than ever. Most importantly, it achieves all of that without compromising the character that defines our brand. We expect it to introduce Cupra to an entirely new audience and show that choosing an affordable electric car no longer means settling for something ordinary.”
