SEAT Ireland has confirmed pricing for the new, updated Ibiza and Arona models, as well as a number of 261-plate offers on its entire range of vehicles for the new registration period.

Can you start with those, please?

In the SEAT 261 Sales Event, which runs from November 3-15, buyers can avail of various offers across the range, including zero-per-cent APR finance, three years' worth of free servicing and a €500 prepaid credit card.

And the SEAT range is available on finance deals that start from as little as (all prices per calendar month) €179 for the Ibiza, €199 for the Arona, €209 for the Leon hatch, €219 for the Leon's Sportstourer estate spin-off and €249 for the Ateca midsized SUV.

All cars must be ordered in the window of dates mentioned above, and registered on or before March 31, 2026, to qualify for these deals.

Sounds tempting. What are the prices of the Ibiza and Arona?

Starting with the Ibiza, it will be available in SE, SE+ and FR specifications. The 80hp MPI (non-turbo) model is only offered at the first two of these, while those wanting the 115hp 1.0 TSI manual will have to buy it as an FR alone - whereas the 95hp TSI manual and the 115hp TSI with the DSG auto are sold in all three trims.

Prices kick off at €23,925 for the 80hp MPI in SE grade, rising to €31,315 for a 115hp DSG FR.

Roughly speaking, the 95hp TSI is about €2,000-€2,300 more expensive model-for-model than the equivalent 80hp MPI model, while the DSG 115 is almost another two grand again on the 95hp version. The only manual 115 TSI, the FR, is €29,340.

Moving to the Arona, there's no 80hp MPI, but the same three specifications. A 95hp TSI in SE trim costs €28,175, while the 115hp manual is €28,985 and the DSG equivalent is €31,385.

Rising to SE spec on all three of these is about a €1,400-€1,600 increment, while only the 115hp TSI is available in top FR grade. It costs from €31,665 as a manual and €34,240 as a DSG auto.

What's changed with the Ibiza and Arona?

You can already read our full review of the updated Ibiza, but the broad strokes are that the cars have come in for another exterior refresh (they already both had their make-up attended to back in 2022), the interior has been enhanced and they offer a "stronger overall value proposition”.

In other words, there are new colours (including a couple of two-tone options on the Arona) and alloy-wheel designs of 16-18 inches in diameter on the outside, with a reshaped hexagonal grille and updated LED light signatures to look at too.

Within, embossed textiles, posher materials, a darker headlining and coloured accents on the air vents are the hallmarks of the updated SEATs, while the FR trim features bucket seats in the front as standard.

Technophiles will appreciate the 2026MY Ibiza and Arona models for their SEAT Sound system with six speakers, a subwoofer and 300-watt amp, while the wireless smartphone charging pad is beefed-up to 15 watts - and it now features cooling technology to prevent your device getting hot as it tops up its battery power.
