Leapmotor expands to Cork with Dan Seaman Motors

Dan Seaman Motors in Forge Hill has been appointed as the first Leapmotor dealer in Cork, making it the second retail partner for the new electric vehicle brand in Ireland. The dealership will offer Leapmotor's debut models, the compact T03 and the family-sized C10 SUV, when they go on sale in Ireland next month. A third model, the recently unveiled B10 SUV, is also expected to join the Irish range in the near future.

The partnership extends Leapmotor's reach into the Munster region as it continues to roll out a network of franchise dealers. With over 40 years of trading history in Cork, Dan Seaman Motors already represents Alfa Romeo, Fiat, Fiat Professional and Jeep.

The dealership's Dealer Principal, Ger Seaman, said: “Being entrusted with the Leapmotor brand is a proud moment for us. We are genuinely excited to introduce the people of Cork to a new era of electric mobility, bringing cutting-edge technology and exceptional value to our customers.”

Leapmotor is part of a joint venture between Chinese EV manufacturer Leapmotor and Stellantis, the group behind brands such as Peugeot, Alfa Romeo, Citroen and Fiat.

Gowan Auto is the national importer for both Stellantis and Leapmotor brands in Ireland. Brand Manager at Leapmotor Ireland, Stephen McGrath commented: “We are thrilled to welcome Dan Seaman Motors to the Leapmotor family as our next franchise dealer. Their longstanding reputation in Cork for outstanding customer care and community engagement makes them a natural fit for the Leapmotor brand and our mission to lead the transition to sustainable motoring, across the entire country.”
