Toyota Ireland has announced its offers for the upcoming 252 registration period, which starts in July, and they include potential trade-in bonuses of up to €3,000 thanks to 'Power Up' boosters.
Is this all about hybrids?
While the 252 offers primarily focus on Toyota's electrified hybrid and plug-in hybrid models, and the fully-electric bZ4X, save some love for the little Aygo X, currently the only non-hybrid passenger car in Toyota's Irish lineup, which gets its own special July offer of either a trade-in boost of €750, or a 4.9 per cent APR finance rate.
Looking at the hybrid lineup, you can have an extra €1,000 off a Yaris Hybrid, or a 3.9 per cent finance rate, or there's the same rate, 4.9 per cent, as the Aygo available for the Yaris Cross Hybrid. The Corolla hatchback and Touring Sports estate come with either a trade-in boost of €1,500 or a 4.9 per cent finance rate. The Corolla saloon gets either the same finance rate, or the same €1,500 extra trade-in boost.
The Corolla Cross Hybrid can be had with a trade-in boost of €1,750 or the 4.9 per cent finance, while the C-HR Hybrid comes with the same boost or a 3.9 per cent finance rate.
What about plug-in hybrids?
As for the plug-in hybrids, the C-HR PHEV comes with two offers - a boost of €2,000 or a 3.9 per cent finance rate for the Sport, Sport+, or Sol models, or there's a €3,000 boost or 2.9 per cent finance for the C-HR PHEV Premium edition. The Prius plug-in gets the same deal as the C-HR Premium, while the RAV4 PHEV gets a 4.9 per cent interest finance rate.
Finally, there's the bz4X all-electric SUV, which comes with either a trade-in boost of €2,000 or a 3.9 per cent interest rate.
Do I have to wait for the new plate?
All of these offers are available for orders placed between 8 May and 31 May, and there will be 'Power of Choice' events in 41 dealership locations nationwide from 19-31 May. You don't even have to wait till the 252 plate kicks in - Toyota reckons that early orders will be delivered in time for the June bank holiday.
