Renault Ireland announces 212-plate offers

Irish buyers can get a new Renault Clio for just €130 a month.

Renault Ireland has announced a raft of special offers for the upcoming 212-plate change in July, and they kick off with a new Clio for just €130 per month.

€1,000 cashback, too

That's for a new Clio, in Iconic spec, and includes a €1,000 cashback and 3.9 per cent APR PCP finance. Oh, and you can defer payments for three months if you need to, which goes for all of Renault's current Irish finance offers.

What else is available? Well, how about the Renault Zoe E-Tech all-electric hatch? It's one of Europe's best-selling electric cars, and Irish buyers can now nab one - complete with a 395km one-charge range - for a 24-hour test drive. If you do decide, at the end of that, to go for a Zoe, Renault reckons that it can save you as much as €3,600 over three years, assuming you drive 20,000km per year.

There are two different offers on the Zoe. The first includes a 'Green Bonus' (essentially a €1,000 discount, but it sounds better if you say Green Bonus), a free home charger and 0 per cent APR hire purchase finance, while the second features the free home charger, three years' free servicing and 0 per cent APR PCP finance (as low as €89 per week including delivery and metallic paint, apparently).

Money off hybrids and plug-in hybrids

For the rest of the Renault hybrid and plug-in hybrid range (which includes the Captur crossover, the Clio, and the Megane estate) Renault Ireland is offering a €1,000 Green Bonus and that 3.9 per cent APR finance package.

On the non-electrified side of things, the Megane hatchback is available with a €1,250 discount, and 3.9 per cent finance, while the Kadjar SUV gets the same finance pack, and a €1,500 discount.

Dacias with low monthly repayments

Over on the Dacia Ireland side of the showroom, there's the arrival of the new Sandero hatchback and Sandero Stepway wannabe-crossover, which has PCP payments starting from as little as €39 per week. The most basic Sandero starts with a €12,990 price tag but comes with full LED lights, air conditioning, cruise control and a smartphone cradle that integrates your phone with the car.

The Stepway model starts from €15,990 or €49 per week, and both of those models are available on 4.9 per cent finance.

The bigger Duster SUV has monthly repayments starting from just €149 on the same 4.9 per cent finance package. All of those offers are valid through to the end of July this year, and Renault Ireland is reminding Irish customers that they can make a one-to-one appointment for a showroom visit or test-drive, or continue to use 'Click & Collect' service. Customers visiting dealerships can, says Renault, expect robust hygiene and safety measures in place in line with health and safety guidelines.
