What size battery will be used in the new 2027 Hyundai Bayon hybrid and what will the electric only range be?

Hi Anthony,
Hyundai has not confirmed the size of the battery in the Bayon, but bear in mind that this is not a plug-in hybrid, so the battery will be very small and an electric-only range is unlikely to be quoted. For example, the new Tucson hybrid's battery is a 1.49kWh unit.
This is the norm for such hybrids. It will likely be able to coast for short distances with the engine off and travel short distances at stop-start traffic speeds and when manoeuvring.
