Hi... our automatic gearbox has gone on our 2013 Nissan Note. Instead of spending money getting it fixed will dealers accept it for a scrappage deal against a new car?

How much will I get it I scrap my Fiat Punto 1.2 Active five-door? NCT until end of the month and taxed until November 2016. Head gasket went last night. Body is in great condition and inside also.

Does it have to be a new car for scrappage? I am buying a 2007 Ford Focus and scrapping a 1999 Mitsubishi Spacestar; am I eligible?

I'm enquiring about scrappage deals and am wondering if I need to have the car insured as I can't afford a new car until 2017 and the insurance is due for renewal on my car now and as I don't need the car until January I don't know if I need to reinsure it before then.

We are seriously considering scrapping a Fiat Cinquecento that we have owned from new. The car's NCT is due in August, it's taxed etc. have been to a dealership (Hyundai) who have given it the thumbs up. However, today, the car has just stopped and won't start, may be electrics or a new battery. Would this mean the car can now not be scrapped?

My 2004 Hyundai Sante Fe was just written off by the insurance company. Car is still driving, with only some medium bumper damage. It has a bull bar up front and a tow bar out back. Another car rear-ended me. My car was up to date with tax, insurance and NCT all good. Will I qualify for a scrappage scheme? I'm thinking of getting a new Berlingo or Peugeot van.

Hi, I have a 2004 Hyundai Getz that I'd like to sell for scrappage. How do I get a quote with you? The last place quoted 75 Euro. This seems very low for a good car.

Hi I have a car from three years a go, a 2000 model bought second hand and I want to buy other one second hand from 2007. Will I be eligible for scrappage?
