Nissan X-Trail N-Trek debuts at 'The Ploughing'

Nissan Ireland gave the new off-road-themed X-Trail N-Trek its Irish debut at the National Ploughing Championships in Screggan in Co. Offaly this week. In this video, Shane has a very quick look at the SUV, powered by Nissan's e-Power hybrid system, available with five or seven seats and with two- or all-wheel drive. It costs from under €50,000.

Win footall tickets and a signed shirt on the Nissan stand at the Ploughing

If you happen to be at the Ploughing Championships this week in Screggan, Co. Offaly, and you're a fan of Irish football, make sure you pop along to the Nissan Ireland stand. It's running a competition to win a signed jersey and tickets to an international match. All you have to do is guess how many footballs it has crammed into the boot of the new Nissan Leaf.

Complete Car visited the Nissan Ireland stand at the 2026 National Ploughing Championships in Screggan, Co. Offaly today. Nissan brought along the whole lineup, including examples of the new Nissan Micra and Leaf, the hybrid-powered Juke, a few Qashqais, some vans and even an Irish debut, the Nissan X-Trail N-Trek.

Nissan goads us with updated Z looking more like Datsun 240Z than ever

We awake today to the news that Nissan has refreshed the Fairlady Z (or just 'Z' in some markets) coupe, with new colours, wheels and other styling updates. We reckon it looks more like the iconic Datsun 240Z of the early seventies, and that is a very good thing. There's a high-performance Nismo model and even a brand-new six-speed manual gearbox. Imagine that, a rear-drive sports coupe with a manual transmission. *sigh* That's right, it still isn't sold in Ireland - or anywhere else in Europe for that matter. Rumours suggest that might change, however, so keep lighting those candles at mass.
