In his new role, Mr Norman will take on responsibility for leading the business and development of Opel Ireland and Vauxhall Motors. This task will include a new strategic plan, called PACE!, which hopes to see the brands become profitable and more global along with the introduction of electrification to its range. In his role, he will report directly to Peter Christian Kuespert, Sales, Marketing and Aftersales Managing Director of Opel/Vauxhall.

Mr Norman succeeds Rory Harvey who has decided to leave the business at the end of February. In 2017, Opel and Vauxhall sold a combined 202,000 passengers cars and 29,000 vans in Ireland and England. The brands are now part of Groupe PSA, which includes the Citroen, DS and Peugeot brands.
