Still not entirely convinced by Lexus CT 200h

On paper the Lexus CT 200h looks quite impressive. It's in Band A thanks to 94g/km of CO2, yet it isn't all that slow. The interior is beautifully made and it's very comfortable and refined. You're waiting for the 'but', aren't you? I just can't get excited about driving it. The only hybrid I've relished so far has been the Honda CR-Z.

When you push the CT it's actually quite good. There is no body roll and it's very agile, but the issue is the complete lack of engagement with the driver. And the engine drones too much in Sport mode.

Then again, does the target market (Audi A3 and BMW 1 Series drivers) care that much? Answers below please...
