Zeekr X
Zeekr hasn't launched in Ireland as yet, but its X SUV could do well when it gets here.
Representing Zeekr’s second car launch just two years after the company’s gestation within the Geely supergroup, the X is a compact SUV that looks to take on some of the leading lights in the business - we’re talking such talented vehicles as the Ford Mustang Mach-E, the BMW iX1, the Mercedes EQA and more. And this Chinese company, distantly related to Volvo and Lotus, has given the X plenty of tools in its armoury to get the job done. This small electric SUV has a wonderful cabin, one or two ergonomic issues aside, and a choice of powerful drivetrains, with the dual-motor version being particularly rapid. Driving range is in excess of 400km for all models and charging times are fast too, so this is a competitive new package in a section of the market where many products are clamouring for buyer attention.
