Volvo EX90

An electric, seven-seat Volvo SUV won't come cheap...

The EX90 is the all-electric replacement for the long serving XC90 (though the XC90 will be sold alongside it for a spell). It carries over that model’s big, bluff styling and roomy seven-seat layout. Presumably, it will also carry over the old XC90’s incredible safety record - it’s generally reckoned to be the single safest car ever made. A massive 107kWh (net) battery makes for a massive 600km range for the basic model, or there’s an indecently rapid 517hp range-topper, although don’t expect pin-sharp handling - that’s the job of the mechanically-similar Polestar 3. The EX90 will come with a massive price tag, but it might just be worth it...
