Volvo ES90
An electric Volvo saloon? Yes please (even if it isn't, strictly speaking, a saloon).
Volvo’s new executive car isn’t actually a saloon. Let us explain; the big ES90 gets a taller ride height than an average four-door, which not only allows more space for a big, long-range battery (up to 700km depending on the model) but also gives it a modicum of rough-road capability. It’s also not strictly a four-door, as the boot gets a big fastback hatch. With its lower shape, though, it’s more efficient than an equivalent SUV, and goes further on one charge than rivals such as the BMW i5 and Mercedes EQE.
