The Tesla Model 3 is a great value EV - with some notable interior gripes.
Updated in 2024 with new looks, a better-quality cabin and the promise of improved refinement, Tesla's Model 3 is one of the most talented EVs of its type out there. You'll get, officially, more than 500km to a single charge from any model and, in the real world, achieving 400km and more even in the depths of winter should be no problem at all. Super-smooth and exceptionally quiet to travel in, there's little wrong with the way the Model 3 drives, although you might be infuriated by the company's decision to get rid of traditional column stalks and replace them with steering-wheel-mounted buttons instead. Still, if you can train yourself to use the Tesla's idiosyncratic interior, there are few long-range EVs better than this American gamechanger.
