Smart 5

The next new Smart will be an upright SUV called the #5.

Smart was once a company that made tiny two-seat city cars, and very clever they were too. Now, though, under combined German and Chinese ownership, Smart is making lots of other cars (although apparently a tiny two-seater is in the offing once again...) including SUVs and crossovers. And now, it’s going to make this - the #5, a big and chunky SUV. Still, as with any SUV it should be popular and Smart is promising masses of interior space, a massive battery pack and ultra-rapid 800-volt charging.
