Polestar, the Sino-Swedish luxury EV brand, arrived in Ireland bringing with it its cool, high-quality Polestar 2. It's ostensibly a 'fastback', though its slightly raised ride height does give it the barest whiff of a crossover. The interior isn't notably spacious and could be that bit more premium feeling, but the Polestar is priced competitively, and its obvious Volvo connections are no bad thing. A major update for the Polestar 2 is coming, with new exterior styling, a bigger 82kWh battery, a range of up to 635km, and a switch to rear-wheel drive for the single-motor versions.
