Opel Frontera

Opel Frontera

New Frontera promises efficiency, space and an affordable price.

Opel is bringing back the Frontera name, but this time around it’s for a compact crossover, which will be available with seven seats. Initially, there will be a Frontera Electric with a 44kWh battery and a range of around 300km, but that will eventually be augmented by a pricier 51kWh version, with a range of up to 400km. It’s based on the same platform as the new Citroen e-C3, so ought to be affordable once it arrives in Ireland in 2025.
