Opel Corsa Electric
Sensible electric supermini motoring comes in the form of the Opel Corsa.
Opel facelifted the Corsa Electric in 2023, giving it the corporate 'Vizor' front grille and a faster-responding, ten-inch touchscreen infotainment system across the range within. It results in an electric car which is quietly smart-looking, and while the cabin is a bit plain, at least it's well-made and comfortable. Bonus points for proper physical air conditioning controls, too, instead of the fiddly touchscreen set-up found in many rival cars. Opel also took the opportunity to bring in a more powerful (115kW/156hp), longer-range (396km, up from 357km previously) Corsa Electric to the line-up with the facelift, although the expectation is the 100kW/136hp car will continue alongside the newcomer for a while, giving customers greater EV choice at this supermini level.
