Nissan Micra

Nissan Micra

Yes, the electric Micra and Renault 5 are the same underneath, but that's not a bad thing.

Nissan copies Renault’s homework shock! Actually, it shouldn’t be a shock at all, as Nissan and Renault have been partners for decades now, and when there’s an EV that’s as brilliant as the Renault 5, why wouldn’t you borrow its bits for your own new Micra? In fact, the two cars were developed at the same time. The new Micra looks cute as a button, and the performance from its batteries and motors is perfectly competitive, and it retains much of the Renault’s sparky driver appeal. It’s priced to compete directly with the Renault too, which makes it one of the better-value EVs.
