With this third-generation model, the Nissan Leaf leaps from the most forgettable EV around to one of the most exciting. It’s technically a crossover now, but it’s sleek enough for you not to notice, and the Z-car-like rear styling is gorgeous. It’s a little roomier inside than before, and cabin design and quality have seen dramatic improvements. As has range - the Leaf can now officially cover 600km in big-battery form. It’s also smooth and satisfying to drive. More expensive than the old Leaf, but we reckon worth it for the upgrade in performance and tech.
