MINI Countryman Electric
The not-so-mini MINI Countryman is going fully electric for the first time.
The largest MINI model of all, the Countryman crossover-SUV, is morphing into its third generation now and while internal combustion-powered models will still be available, the company is going to offer at least two fully electric versions of the Countryman for the first time. Taking its smoother styling cues from the new generation of MINI three-door hatch, the Countryman nevertheless has more angular detailing for the lights in order to reflect its rugged, off-road nature. The electric Countryman models are the single-motor E, with 150kW (204hp) and 250Nm, and then the dual-motor SE All4, which packs 230kW (313hp) and 494Nm from its propulsion units on each axle - leading to all-wheel drive. Expect up to 462km of range from the electric Countrymen, as well as rapid recharging rates courtesy of 130kW DC maximum capability.
