MINI Cooper Electric
The second generation of electric MINI is a far more accomplished creation.
The next generation of three-door MINI hatchback will be sold in two different electric guises from the start and has some serious technical updates in comparison to its predecessor. It also features a much smoother-looking exterior, punctuated by circular motifs and flush-fitting door handles. The interior of the new MINI has a central, circular infotainment screen to echo the styling outside - and there's no instrument cluster in front of the driver, either; just the option of a head-up display. Two models have been confirmed, both single-motor, front-wheel-drive variants. Choose from the 135kW (184hp) Cooper Electric E, or the more potent 160kW (218hp) Cooper Electric SE. MINI promises up to 402km of range with the new EV, which is much more than the outgoing MINI Electric managed, and charging times promise to be decent, with 95kW DC speeds possible for the SE.
