Jaguar I-Pace
It has been around for a while, but the Jaguar I-Pace is still a cracking-to-drive EV.
Jag's gorgeous I-Pace was really the first EV to truly blow our minds. Aside from the looks, it has genuine sports car performance from its 400hp powertrain, but the one-charge range has now slipped well behind that of much of the competition, while the pricing of the rival Tesla Model Y is making it look distinctly expensive. Still, the interior is pretty lovely, and the handling is excellent, once you allow for the chunky kerb weight. It’s just a shame that Jaguar seems unable to capitalise on its initial lead in the electric SUV market.
