The Honda e:NY1 is an electric compact crossover that has almost identical dimensions to the Honda HR-V but uses a different architecture beneath its skin. Despite a coupe-like profile that gives it a three-door look, the e:NY1 is a relatively practical five-seater, and the interior features a unique design with a large touchscreen display. However, the interior is let down by cheap materials that aren’t up to the usual high Honda standards. Performance is on a par with many of its competitors’, and while it has a lower fast-charging rate than many of its rivals, Honda insists that in real-world scenarios, it charges up in almost the same time. Will hit the Irish market in 2024.
