Ford Explorer
Ford is working with VW to bring its stylish new Explorer SUV to market.
Ford is targeting the mainstream SUV segment with its electric Explorer, which is the result of a collaboration with Volkswagen. While Ford has yet to reveal all of the tech specs, expect it to have similar performance to the Volkswagen ID.4, as it uses the same underpinnings. Inside the Explorer, a portrait-orientated 14.6-inch touchscreen display moves upwards to reveal a hidden storage area behind while a sizeable 17-litre centre console storage area is long and deep enough to swallow bulkier items, including laptops, and there's a 450-litre boot. Delayed as Ford wanted to wait for new battery tech to arrive, the Explorer is finally in Ireland, with a competitive 600km range.
