The DS No.7 has a big job on its hands - it is replacing the French luxury firm’s previous best-selling car worldwide, the DS 7 crossover. To that end, the No.7 is more of a conventional, upright SUV shape than the closely related DS No.8, but it uses a lot of the same hardware as that latter car. There are three main models of the DS No.7 E-Tense - two front-wheel-drive cars and then a dual-motor, all-wheel-drive flagship. Two battery sizes provide competitive range across the line-up, but the longest-legged No.7 has an admirable 740km peak figure at its disposal. It’s also a supremely comfortable car to drive, thanks in part to its clever DS Active Scan suspension.
