Cupra Raval
Cupra will soon launch the sporty little Raval, a compact crossover.
The newest electric Cupra is also the Spanish performance brand’s smallest car yet, slotting in below both the electric Born and the hybrid Leon. It’s based on the Volkswagen Group’s new front-wheel-drive ‘MEB’ platform which it will share with the likes of the Skoda Epiq and the VW ID. Polo. The Raval kind of splits the difference between those two cars, as it’s a little chunky and SUV-like in its height, but arguably cleaves closer to the VW with hatchback-like styling. Cupra is promising that the Raval will be as exciting to drive as the El Raval area of Barcelona - nightclub central - is to visit.
