The e-C4 X is basically a four-door saloon version of the e-C4 hatchback with a big 510-litre boot slung out the back. It’s a slightly awkward thing to look at, but its aerodynamics are a little better than those of the five-door, so it gets a fractionally longer range on paper. The X gets the same comfortable, spacious cabin too, and as with the five-door now comes with a bigger battery and a 400km range than it initally launched with.
