BMW i4
The BMW i4 is the all-electric version of the 4 Series Gran Coupe - updated for 2025.
The all-electric version of BMW's four-door 4 Series is good to give Tesla's Model 3 a bit of a bloody nose in the mid-sized EV market. Even the entry-level i4 eDrive35 looks pricey now that the Model 3 has had its prices cut so dramatically, but the i4 is competitive with the Californian car in most performance metrics. The mildly controversial grille design still looks a little awkward, and it’s not the roomiest thing in the back, but it’s terrific to drive - a proper BMW. The more powerful two-motor M50 version is blisteringly quick, but the simpler rear-drive models are sweeter to drive. Updated for 2024 with fresh styling and some interior updates.
