Alfa Romeo Junior
One of the best-to-drive Alfas in an age is the electric version of the Junior.
Who would have thunk it that one of Alfa's best-driving new cars in ages would be a compact electric crossover? The Junior (originally called the Milano until Italian politicians protested that it wasn't built there - it's actually made in Poland) might not be the best-looking Alfa of all time, but paint it red and stick some nice alloys on it, and it's handsome enough for us. The interior is well-made and just about roomy enough, but it really benefits from the (optional and very expensive) Sabelt bucket seats. The standard Elettrica model has a range of 400km (350km really) and feels genuinely engaging and enjoyable to drive while the 280hp Veloce trades range for speed, and feels properly poised, thanks in part to a limited slip differential up front.
