Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles 2020 deals

All of 0% HP, a €4,000 bonus upgrade, leasing from €248pcm and €18.99pcm service packages part of commercial vehicles’ offers.

Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles (VWCV) Ireland has revealed its offers for customers looking to get into a 201-plate CV - including 0 per cent hire purchase (HP) on specific models in the range, as well as an upgrade bonus of €4,000.

Guaranteed residual values

There are more deals than just these, including VWCV offing a lease product where customers can pay a monthly figure without any need for a deposit at all, these plans starting from €248 per month. And it is the only manufacturer to offer, in Ireland, a PCP solution which guarantees the residual value of a vehicle after 36 months of use.

Further, service and maintenance packages are available from €18.99 per month, with the brand's newly launched service plans.

Record 2019

VWCV is riding the crest of a wave at the moment, as 2019 was a record year for sales - so it is hoping to go one better in 2020. The Caddy is the best-selling CV in Ireland, while the Crafter and Amarok are the fastest-growing models in their respective segments. Meanwhile, the introduction of a new 'T6.1' Transporter (the commercial version of the similarly updated Caravelle) in 2020 should drive sales for that particular van line.

'Exceed our customers' requirements'

Alan Bateson, managing director at VWCV Ireland, said of the strategy for 2020: "It [2019] has been a record year for the brand in Ireland, and we are targeting to go even further in 2020. Our brand is renowned for offering the best commercial vehicle solutions and after-sales service to customers in Ireland. The new models, services and offers we have launched ensures we will continue this.

"We offer complete customer solutions through our exclusive retail network and trained brand managers to ensure we deliver and exceed our customers' requirements every day. Simple ideas such as 24- to 48-hour test drives and the offer that we will come to the customer if they are too busy to come to us, are what is changing the way commercial customers are purchasing their vehicles in Ireland, and we are focused on continuously delivering what they want."
