Dutch supercar ready

This is the Isis AM01, a Subaru-powered supercar from The Netherlands.

Dutch supercar maker Isis has launched its AM01 supercar and plans on selling it for €120,000 (plus VRT...).

For the money, you get a car that looks like it would be more at home racing at Le Mans and a 275hp 2.0-litre turbocharged engine from the Subaru WRX STi. Driving through a five-speed manual gearbox to the rear wheels, the AM01 covers 0-100km/h in a very supercar-like 4.2 seconds, though top speed levels off at 262km/h.

Isis has worked hard to keep weight down in the AM01 and it tips the scales at just 850kg thanks to an aluminium and carbon fibre body and chassis. The body has been designed by Anton van Nunen and Max Alting Silberg.

Only 10 AM01s are planned for production, while a more powerful version of the Isis is destined to use a 3.0-litre Subaru engine with 400hp.
